Background
A former agent of the IVth Imperial Legion’s mage detachment, and guilty of one of the most serious Imperial crimes: Desertion. Born and raised in the former Imperial territory of Orthard, Kasumi lived a relatively simple life until being conscripted at the age of 20 to the IVth Imperial Legion and being stationed largely in Bozja.Being away on a mission at the time of the Bozja incident, Kasumi took advantage of the ensuing chaos to escape and has since been spotted in a number of locations across the far east and Eorzea.Stowing away on a ship to Eorzea, she eventually found allies in the Lemures, a group of Garleans who had chosen to leave Garlean rule for one reason or another. They helped her get her bearings in her new home, teaching her about local contacts, customs, allies in other regions, the like.Eventually, she struck out once more to explore the rest of Eorzea and beyond. Armed with her training and a “gift” from her family, she seeks to travel the lands, cross the seas, and take to the skies upon the eternal winds.
